これ以外といいわ。3秒でスリープから起動するから何かをしたいときに待たされることが無い。布団の中で天気を調べようとしても待たされて寝てしまうことも無いw。
ただ、Flashを使用しているページが今のところ見れない。Flash Liteを使えばいいらしいが。というか、FlashなんかHPで使うなよって言いたい。Flashのページをこの世から無くしたらCO2の排出量がぐっと減るんじゃねぇのってくらいマシンパワー食うときあるしな。
で、まず、Bluetooth。これはパッケージを追加すれば使用できるようになるが、まだA2DPでの音声送信とかはできていない。Webで調べた方法でもうまくいかない感じ。ヘッドセットプロファイル使えればマイク端子が無いのも気にはならなくなるのに。
次にFirefox。スクロールさせるのにスクロールバーが細くて難しい。組み込み系のOperaみたいにリンク以外のところでドラッグするとスクロールしてくれると使い勝手が上がるんだがなぁ。何かそういうプラグインないかな。でも、爪で操作しているからであって、リンクのクリックとかはタッチパネルの調整さえちゃんとしていれば問題は無い。
キーボードの印象が初め悪かったが、実は使い方が悪かったのかも。手に持った場合、横向きの指で押すことになることに気づいた。そうなると横長のキーのほうが押しやすい。そういう思想の設計みたいだ。
マウス操作はタッチパネル操作がメインだけど、OPTICAL POINTも結構いい感じ。動く速度をデフォルトより下げておくと動かしすぎも無くなる。ただ、ボタンがちょっと悩む。手に持って操作をする場合、右ボタンをマウスの左ボタンのような感じで押してしまう。たぶん設定で入れ替えは可能だと思うが。
あとは、Webカメラが使えると面白いのに。まだ試していないが、せめて静止画、おまけで動画(320×240の15fps)が撮影できれば。(Logitechのカメラをつないでwebcamとcameramonitorのパッケージを入れてみたが、ドライバーレベルで認識してないっぽい)
ほかに、EMの設定もあっさりできたし(SHARPのHPに設定方法が載ってる)、Willcom03もPPPで使えれば最強なんだがな。
初めて割り切ってLinuxが動いているマシンなんでさらにLinuxに強くなるな(EeePCにもUbuntuは入れたが、Windowsがメインになってしまう)。
